Coming off of a successful first season of the CCNY Track & Field teams, Heather Ruger is quickly adapting to the cross country course. The Valley Central, NY native took ninth place overall at the Baruch College Invitational last Saturday. Running at historic Van Cortlandt Park for the first time, she posted a 29:41 6K time, which was good for a ninth place overall finish (79 runners, 11 teams) and tops on the Beavers.
