Anthony Chan, a second year member of the Brooklyn College Men's Cross Country team, CUNYAC/US Army Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, for the week ending September 18th. Chan competed in the Queensborough Community College Invitational this past Sunday, September 18th at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, NY. The Flushing, NY native completed the 8K course with a time of 30:37.1, which was good for a 13th place individual finish in the field of 88 runners.Chan was the first BC runner to cross the finish line for the second week in a row, as the Bulldogs posted a 7th place finish in the QCC Invitational.
“I am completely honored to be recognized as the CUNYAC cross country runner of the week,” said Chan when informed of his award. “This recognition not only reflects the hours and hours of training throughout the year, but also the support of everyone here at Brooklyn College.”
