The Bearcats fielded a limited roster at the 5K Queensborough Community College Invitational last Sunday morning, at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, but individually they had success with Sara Soto placing fourth overall in a field of 84 total runners. Soto was also first among Division III school runners in the race, as she earned her first-ever CUNYAC/US Army Cross Country Runner of the Week award. The women’s cross country team will return to action on Sunday, September 25 at Van Cortlandt Park as they will compete at the Hunter Developmental Meet scheduled for 10:00 am.
