In four appearances last week, including two starts and spanning 20.1 innings, Iacovetti went 2-0, while giving up four runs, only two of which were earned, on 16 hits. The newcomer from Imperial Beach, California averaged over a strikeout an inning, collecting 26 K's.
To go along with her perfect record, Iacovetti has posted an impressive 0.97 earned run average so far this season, allowing just 12 runs, only four earned, on 30 hits in 37 innings of work, while striking out 50. Opponents are batting a mere .207 against her.
