A new face at shortstop for Staten Island has yielded strong results this season, as freshman Matt Morales swung his way to a .571 week at the plate. He went 4-7 in a doubleheader sweep of St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) going 4-7 with four runs batted in and three scores. The Tottenville High School alumnus also had a double in each contest and is batting .355 through his first nine contests for CSI.
