In a three-point victory over Rutgers-Newark (Dec. 8), freshman forward KRISTEN MARKOE scored 13 points on 5-9 shooting from the field, 1-2 from long distance and 2-2 from the charity stripe, to go along with seven rebounds and three steals. For the 1-2 Hawks, Markoe averaged 11.3 points and 8.3 rebounds. The Staten Island Technical High School alumnus was also named CUNYAC/Con Edison Rookie of the Week on November 22. The Hawks will return to action at the Sportsplex when they host William Paterson on December 29th.
