One week after teammate and fellow All-American Eryk Kowalski won the inaugural Player of the Week award on the 2011 campaign, Oliveira is recognized after hitting .360 (53-17-100) to go with averages of 4.08 kills and 0.69 blocks per set in a five-match week for the Bearcats. He hit .353 with 18 kills, eight digs and three service aces in a four-set contest versus nationally ranked NYU (Feb. 3), while also going for double-digit kills in three-set matches against York (Feb. 5; 12-4-21, .381) and Division I Rutgers-Newark (Feb. 1; 11-4-27, .259).
