During the month of January, Srdanovic competed in four out of the Lightning’s five meets. Concentrating primarily in the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyle events, he swam to six first place finishes and a second place finish in seven individual events in which he competed. Not included was his unofficial first place finish in the 100-yard backstroke against York College, an event in which he swam exhibition.
This all comes after a successful freshman campaign in which he nearly broke the Lehman record for the 100-yard freestyle and eventually qualified for the Metropolitan Swimming Championships in the 200-yard freestyle where he swam a 1:51.08.
