Tibbs, in his first year of college ball, showed a flair for the dramatic in helping the Dolphins to remain undefeated in CUNYAC play. His paramount performance of the week came at Baruch (Jan. 14), when he scored not only the game-tying basket at the end of the second overtime, but also the game-winning basket in the closing seconds of the third overtime to lift CSI to a 109-107 victory over the Bearcats. Tibbs finished with 31 points (11-for-22 FG) and seven assists. Two nights earlier versus City Tech, Tibbs had a great all-around game with 15 points (3-for-6 3FG), eight rebounds and five assists. On the season, Tibbs leads the CUNYAC with an average of 5.5 assists per game, as well as a 1.9 assist-to-turnover ratio.
