Sung made quite the splash in her first three races as a collegian, setting records in four of her swims to help the Bearcats to a 2-1 dual-meet record (2-0 CUNYAC). In her debut against William Paterson (Oct. 28), she set the school's freshman record in the 50 Free (30.30), and the Baruch school record in the 100 Back (1:11.62) - garnering a first-place finish in the latter race. Sung also swam on the school-record 200 Free Relay squad, which completed the race in a winning time of 2:14.17. She was a member of the school-record 200 Medley Relay team (2:14.17) against Staten Island (Nov. 10), while also placing first in the 200 IM (2:39.69) and 100 Fly (1:18.72). Two days later against Brooklyn, Sung touched the wall first in both the 800 (10:30.12) and 400 (5:07.43) freestyle events.
