Brooklyn’s AMANDA FIORE continues her stronghold of the CUNYAC Rookie of the Week award, taking home the honor for the week ending October 17th. This marks the fifth time this season and fourth-straight week that Fiore has earned the conference’s rookie of the week award. Playing in seven sets over the week, Fiore totaled 52 assists, to go along with seven service aces and 19 digs in leading the Bulldogs to a split at the Rutgers-Newark tri-match on October 15th. In a 3-0 victory coming against Green Mountain College, Fiore paced the offense with 19 assists, while also recording five aces. In a 3-1 loss to host Rutgers-Newark, Fiore racked up 33 assists, to go with a solid defensive effort registering 16 digs.
