Baruch (22-5, 12-1 CUNYAC) was led by Kalea Davis with 18 points and 17 rebounds. The second-seeded Hunter College Hawks defeated the sixth-seeded Lehman College Lightning 62-57 to advance to the 2010 CUNY Athletic Conference / Con Edison Senior College Women’s Basketball Championship Game.

Juanita Wyms led Hunter (17-9, 10-3 CUNYAC) with 15 points and 17 rebounds. "Juanita played very focused down in the low post tonight," CUNYAC Coach of the Year Vana Loukissas stated after the victory. "She got the ball in good position and made her shots - and it was the key to allowing our shooters and guard to play their game tonight."

Shamar Stewartson added 14 points and Shay Branch-El-Vielot chipped in 12 points, shooting 4-of-9 from the floor. The Hawks shot 35 percent (20-57) from the floor to earn their first trip to the championship game since 2005.

Leslie Mencia led Lehman (11-16, 8-5 CUNYAC) with 15 points and nine rebounds, although she scored only two points in the entire second half. "We gambled with her," head coach Eric Harrison stated after the game. "We forced her to be in a position where other players had to pick up for her scoring, and we couldn't stop Hunter they way we wanted to because of her foul trouble."

The Hawks face the Baruch College Bearcats for the first time in the history of the  CUNY Athletic Conference / Con Edison Senior College Women’s Basketball Championships. "I don't think I have the words to describe what it means to battle all season and be able to play in a game for a championship." Wyms said about Saturday's championship contest.
