Bronx Community College swept Queensborough Community College to advance to the 2009 CUNY Athletic Conference Community College Women's Volleyball Championship.

The Broncos took advantage of a .293 hitting performance and 15 service aces to take the three sets by scores of 25-9, 25-12, and 25-12. Vanessa Brown led the way with eight kills on .545 hitting, while defending tournament MVP Sandra Izaguirre recorded eight services aces with an error as well eight kills. Rosalie Cabrera anchored the BCC offense with 20 assists. Alexandra Mejia tallied 12 digs as QCC was limited to -.196 hitting for the match.

The Broncos look to defend their 2008 Championship when they face the Borough of Manhattan Community College in the 2009 CUNY Athletic Conference Community College Women's Volleyball Championship.
